The Bell & Brisley Common
Brisley’s common is one of the largest of its kind in England. With regularly exercised grazing rights, the common is a daily site of beauty for the Brisley population.
It was able to remain untouched when it was gifted to the Parish by Canon Dodson in 1993. The Green, on The Bell’s doorstep, is a real focal point of the village; housing a variety of wildlife and the occasional herd or two.
It is the perfect spot for cricket and with the local team rebanding with the resurgence of The Bell, you can expect to see regular matches throughout the summer.
