An Evening of French Cuisine

 

Join us on the 27th February for an evening of French cuisine. Our head chef Herve Stouvenel has designed a four course set menu to showcase celebrated dishes from across the Channel. Our front of house team will also be on hand to recommend wine pairings for the evening.

Soupe à l’oignon avec croûton au fromage

French onion soup with cheese crouton

Grenouilles & escargots à la crème d’ail douce, orge perlée et épinards

Frogs legs and snails in mild garlic cream with pearl barley and spinach


Bouillabaisse de lotte et crevettes

Monkfish and prawn in tomato and saffron stew

Coq au Riesling, spaëtzle maison

Cockerel in white wine, mushroom cream sauce and homemade spaëtzle pasta

Camembert au four, frite à l’huite de truffle, mâche

Baked camembert with truffle oil, French fries and lamb’s leaves


Tarte tatin glace vanille à l’ancienne

Apple tart tatin with French vanilla ice cream

Vacherin glacé

Raspberry and vanilla frozen meringue

French cheese platter with grapes, walnuts, crackers, celery and chutney
